just wondering what kinda deals people getting with the rs3. any audi Contribution's?

i got 2k Contribution on my older rs3. but can't see people getting any Contributions on the new 1.

also some advice please

my rs3 is due to go back in november. we would of had it for 4 years in november. but want to hand it back early. my question is if i hand it back 10months early thats 10x £430 payments plus 18k payment. puts the car at £22,300 its a 62 plate with 20k miles. if i hand it back now would i have to pay anything? the car must be valued at say 28k. so if anything i would get some money back lol

sorry not to clued up with this kinda thing.

The equity that you come out with after they pay off the car etc you can put towards the new one.. So say your looking at 6k equity you can just put it against the next one..

Could even approach a few more specialist dealers as they may buy it off you as they are a desirable car.

Also a bit different but Audi did give me £1500 towards a used S3 so there are deals around.

I've heard of carwow etc getting £3k discounts. I didn't get much as ordered back in Summer 2015

TX.

There are no Audi deals on RS3 at present. Just the Finance one. There are deals to be done at dealers but mine is saying £1k off tops for non regular business customers. (I'm fairly happy with my *% and a Lifeshine) Tried to pusher more last week but they are not playing. It's good in one way as it should protect our residuals.

You can get £2900 off a basic RS3 which works out at around 7% discount I think.

That's through drive the deal, that's the best I've seen at the minute, I think others have had a touch more off but maybe because dealer relationship or whatever.

I'm getting about that with 'freeLifeshine' factored in. Haven't seen the drive the deal offer. Would rather deal local unless there are thousands to be saved but having to work much harder for discounts these days.

thanks for the info guys. i have just got back from audi. this is the deal i got

they found a brand new 1 in stock there and then it was 51k
super sports seats
black styling pack
dynamic pack
comfort and sound pack
technology pack + phone
pan roof
black roof rails
folding mirrors
reversing camera
advanced key
black diamond cut alloys
hill hold assist
tinted windows
black mirrors
driving assistance pack
nardo grey

i managed to get them to give some discount. got the car in the end for £48,500 witch i think is good going off all the extras

but they only give me £22.500 for my rs3. when its easy worth 28k! so gutted there. i don't have the funds to pay them the 22.5 for my rs3 hence no other option. there gonna make a few grand on that lol. it does need all 4 alloys refurb and tyres. and a service but still 22.5k :(

The deal for the car is a good deal when I design the same car it's slightly over 51k but got it for 48.5

But the deal on my old rs3 isn't good at all they should of at least gived me 25k

It appears as though they are off setting the perceived discount on the new car with a low part ex price - so best thing would be to sell your current car elsewhere then take the net 5% discount on the new car.

Defo what they are doing here.

They did the same with me a few weeks past. Effectively bought a £48k new RS3 and got £25.5k trade with no discount list price or got £23.5k and £2k discount.

They take off list price because THEY CAN and then benefit your low trade vs their forecourt sale. They put £6k onto my absolutely mint RS3 albeit they needed to service, tax, warranty, etc. At short notice I couldn't find a buyer to give them even a deal on my trade offer.

Yeah it's interesting that people believe it when they structure it - Jade walks away thinking that s/he has a discount, when actually s/he has been shafted to the tune of about £6k. If they paid £22k for a £28k car, but reduced a £51k car to £48k, they could have said "we'll sell you the RS3 for £26k, a nice big discount, but we'll have your old one for free".

How obvious does it need to be before people spot it?!

Human psychology is quite interesting with this stuff - if you tell people something is "on sale" or that they're getting a "special discount", it's amazing how many people believe it without actually looking at the truth...
