I know a few people have been asking so I thought I'd post some pics up of my new facelift which has just been lowered today on H + R springs with 10mm spacers at the rear and 15mm at the front. Having the larger spacer at the front really fills the arches out and makes it handle excellent with it being lowered.

So here goes, 1st the interior (soon to have my RNS-E and bluetooth retrofit!)

This shows the new front end quite well

Good shot of how the spacer looks on the front

This shows the new rear diffuser and it sticks out much more at the rear than the pre facelift one

My mate who is a ex Audi tech and started his own business up, he does all my work.

That looks great! Love the second pic
Facelift grows on me more and more (now its only the huge mirrors I'm against)

Done perfectly:icon_thumright:

Cheers mate!

They do look big when you are sat in the car but you soon get used to them!

Looks great mate, really does. THE best colour!
Really keen to get our cars together and do the arch check.... you still think they are wider???

Looks the business Jam, its just such a shame about the :puke:wheels.

Will you be changing them?

Just can't get my head round them!!!! Sorry

Lovely colour and interior, does it feel much different to the old'n?

Lee:thumbsup:

No mate won't be changing them as I really like them, they look much better in real life than in pics!

Engine seems smoother with more low down torque but there is meant to be a new map on the facelift so probs is that!

Just noticed the chromey surrounds on the fog trims, lol, god they put it everywhere this time huh.

That looks great. Ride height looks spot on too.
I presume there is no need to mod the arches with the car lowered and spacers?

As long as you are safe and don't put anything more than 10mm on the rear.

I have tried loads of combos and even a 12mm rubs sometimes with passengers in the rear.

Looking good, how much has it been lowered, something i've been considering?

Congrats mate. Looks great. I love the bucket seats.

And now the question ; is there much difference in the drive, power, overall feel betwwen the old and new ? I know that it is still early days, but some comparison would be great.

Enjoy.

H&R springs drop the S3 by 25mm.
Have it done to mine and it's a big improvement.

Does look much better. Damn, with 19" wheels also playing on my mind this forum is costing me a fortune ;)

Looking nice Jam. Well done... lowering makes a big difference to performance, handling and looks.
Next up ---- DETAILING... You given it in today?? Who's doing it for you??

Get them to do a nice write up if possible.

Jamie... looks greats big difference in it's appearance :icon_thumright:

Have to say that looks fantastic Jam, well done. Sprint Blue is such a good colour for the S3.

Yours is the first i've seen with larger spacers on the front than the rear and it looks great. I need to get mine ordered...
