New Owner Returning

Hi all,

After 4 years with my Golf R Mk7, I have returned to the 'Audi Side'.
Picked up an Audi A5 B8.5 Black Edition at the weekend and couldn't be happier.

As much as I loved the Golf, a change in job forced me to sell it for something more economical, especially with the ever increasing fuel prices!

My plan is to go with the RS5 grille but in piano black and upgrade the fog light surrounds to match. Not sure about spoiler or mirror caps just yet but they may be on the cards for the future.

Decided to replace the tired worn out gear knob for a new one.

It's just a cheapy one I found on eBay but feels much better in your hand and I like the added red accent.

Dynamic wing mirror indicators next, like I had on my Golf.
The removal process looks far more complicated than it was with my golf but that's just the Audi way I guess.

Got the sequential wing mirror indicators installed (no pictures yet).
Not a fun job dismantling the wing mirror but plenty of YouTube videos to assist with the process.

Next job was to replace the scratched/marked piano black trim around the centre console.
I managed to pickup a used Alcantara centre console trim from the RS5 on eBay at a good price. It came with the carbon fibre door trims but ran out of day light to install them, so that's this evenings job.
Was easy enough to install but does require you to remove the entire centre console as the trim is actually screwed in, as well as clipped.

Decided to get a set of new exhaust tips for the old girl. The old ones were pitted and no matter how much scrubbing I did, I couldn't get them to the standard I wanted. Dead easy to swap over.

Next was a set of brand new RS5 Interior Door handles. Bit of pain to swap over, especially if you have the interior door LED's fitted but definitely worth it. Gives the cabin a bit more of a modern look.

Got tired of the featureless Audi AMI system, so decided it was time for an upgrade.
Seen a few of these on the Facebook pages and decided to make the plunge.
Couldn't be happier!
Retains the original AMi system as well.
Bluetooth, WiFi, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, 4G, 10.25" Hi res screen, MicroSD card, USB, etc
