New oil dipstick and performance?

Maybe a dumb question but is it possible that broken seal on oil dipstick afects performance badly?

The reason i ask is that i had mine changed and car feels much stronger. Difference is huge.
Just shows how much little things that are easily overseen afect these engines.

Yep, the air leak makes it idle rough as, amongst other things.

Its usually the O-ring that goes and when engine is on the car sooks so air gets in
