Nice one matey! :) I'd love one in a few years after the S3!

Where abouts near Heathrow? I live 5 mins away from there.

reminds me of when i bought mine last year. let the modding begin mate :icon_thumright:

engine bay needs a bit of a clean mind lol

how much did you get the car for? is it standard? wot is the spec?

Looks good, once it's had a good clean it'll be stunning!

Just need to swap your front wheels around, directional tyres facing the wrong way lol

Lol, I'll get it clean for you..
Got it for £4200 in the end, Its had a remap and I'm sure the rear exhaust is not supposed to be like that! It's running just a stage 1 remap, but i'll be getting it on the rolling road soon.

my thoughts too lol

What's wrong with them?? :scared2:

Yikes, didn't notice that! will dooo!

Keep the Forge BOVs I have them and they are very good and they help your car when its remap but close the side that make the pusshhhhhh sound :)

I assume they are already closed because they dont make any sound.. i was suspicious about them 'wooshing' and i didn't want them to..

I just read good stuff about them and thought they'd be ok to keep with for the time being, i dont like real BOV's that make loud 'wooshing' and these dont :icon_thumright:

Yeah I agree absolutely nothing wrong with them. Like the OE Bosch units (I'm assuming the S4's use the Bosch black plastic valves.....Every european forced induction car I have owned has had them!) they are re-circulating the air back into the intake system....Which is obviously a good thing! These are stronger and the chances of failure (which is not good for your turbo('s)) is less compared to the plastic diaphram Bosch counterparts.......Believe me I know.....OUCH!!!

Looking really nice Ben. Came from Hull in the beginning then? Was going to pop on to the 'Top and see if I could see you cleaning it yesterday... but the hangover from hell wouldn't let me behind the wheel all day!

I can't see anything wrong with his front tyres... you must be seeing things or getting his rears mixed up!

Has the rear spoiler been retrofitted? Because you have a high level brake light above the parcel shelf and I didn't think you got both!

Yes, bought originally by a guy in Scunthorpe, for £33k, serviced ay Hull Audi, then a guy in Cleethorpes bought it and serviced at Grimsby Audi.. Such a small world.
I will check on those then.. strange..
Haha, i went past your house yesterday when we filled my Fiancees car up, saw the Audi but she doesn't like your headlights.. Tut!

I think it is aftermarket, the light doesn't work and will be removed! i want the little M3 lip spoiler. Anyone know where to get one? eBay has them for cheap but huge postage cost..

I also want the Seat front splitter, which i have found out is only £19 from Seat themselves! So i'll be popping in to see them this week. Should i try the BMW dealer for the lip spoiler?

I am right in thinking i should have a rear silencer on the exhaust, yeah?
History also says that downpipes have been fitted 'as supplied by the owner', along with the 'backbox, as supplied by the owner' so i'll get it on the ramp this week to find out what they are!

dammit pictures are blocked at work, laptop is dead so i cant see these at home!

Ben... you should have popped in. I'd have been in the driveway stripping the Jetta!

To be honest, I've gone off the headlights myself now. Think I'll be swapping the blue for just a subtle tint instead.

Yeah... you should have a rear box on your system...! I still have my rear box, but I deleted the middle 'wind' box...

I've got the SEAT front splitter on mine - got it from Westgate. It's a bumper-off job to fit. Mine's still not right though! And... I've got the rear lip spoiler still attached to my old boot-lid that's round the back of the garage. Come and have a look at that if you want, then make your mind up. Wish I'd spent the extra money for a painted version though... it's a bit rough at the two ends!

Well.. I have a Stack 2bar gauge coming tomorrow..

I want an Audi Navigation Plus (RNS-E?)..
Audi 18" Avus rims or some black B7 RS4 alloys..
Boot lip spoiler and front SEAT splitter..
some H&R coil-overs..
I'd be happy with that. and the 320hp I have now.

Then i'd go for...

The Tial 770r Kit..
FMIC in black to hide it..
Borla Exhaust..
Carbon bonnet and bootlid..
Recaro Pole Positions..
Roll Cage.. Strip the rear interior..
I want about 700bhp.. so would have to look maybe at the 3ltr stroker kit and some other choice internals and ancillaries..

But look at me getting carried away.. must play the lotto now!

those wannabe ford escort blow off valves want to be ditched immediately

it is a closed recirc system, not designed for items such as those

They are Forge Split-R's aren't they...? And as such, they can be 'turned off' so they are 100% recirculation = no problem. :icon_thumright:

not sure i like the sound of this dv at all, does not recirc all the air, takes out 50% according to forge, albeit with the ability to turn off, which would make me happier if i had a car with them. certainly not worth the money over the 710N

They are the Split-R's and are turned 'off' they do not make any sound..
I dont suppose they are worth the extra money over the 710n's.. but then again i didn't buy them..

Nice car this, I nearly bought this car last year from Camberley! Guy had it up for 6-6500 I think. I think the car was mapped by Storm Developments in Reading, and It's got RS4 downpipes if I remember correctly? Very nice!

In the history folder that came with the car, it does say about the downpipes.. but not what they are.. I was suspecting RS4 items.. I'm on the ramp on Monday so I will find out for certain! But thanks for saying that!, perked me up abit lol

Well I don't know about the RS4 downpipes.. but it does have Sport Cats, from 'Zimmer'? some German company anyway, also threw up fault codes 17868 and 17864 which are exhaust gas temp limit reached on both banks, could this be because Lambda's have been relocated??

Popped the Stack Gauge in on Monday too, boosts about 1.3/1.4bar then settles to like 1.2bar

Happy overall :icon_thumright:
