New Keyfob

Hello Everyone

I have a 2011 A3 sportback Sline TDI.
From purchase the car has only had one key remote.
I'd like to purchase a replacement/spare fob in case of need.
I've seen a complete unit on a popular auction site which is in good condition and is the correct part number and frequency.
I know I'll have to get a new blade cut but was wondering what else is involved with reprogramming etc so that this new unit would work correctly with car.
All suggestions and advice would be very welcome!

You'll need the immo matching & used keys aren't possible unless aftermarket person puts a new chip in the key, there are risks to this aswell, so I would suggest you go to audi for a complete new key for peace of mind.
