Hi, I recently installed the Caractere Diffuser.
I quite liked the matte black color it came with, so opted to not paint it.

Now there is a slight problem the housing surrounding the exhaust has started to get rough and show some white marks.

is this from heat damage?

I learned that the matte black is just a primer not a full coat...
this is quite problematic.

What do you all advise I should do. Below are some pictures of the stated surface damage.

Thanks all!

You need to paint that mate, those marks are from a DA sander - It looks to me that the black is a gel coat used in the moulding of the bumper and they have trimed and tidied the edge around the exhaust using the DA.

You should get that primed and paint sooner rather than later mate as the way it is just now the fibreglass will break down and get impregnated with water.

HTH's

its already glued on.. wont it be a bitch to paint?

pics of the full splitter mate ??

there defo sanding marks. will need painting, even though its glued on it will have to be some proper making off, like the hole car haha

damn, i wanted to do this mod and you beat me to it!
