The description says it’s a straight swap just changing bolts etc no mention of cutting etc.A bit expensive but this is on a certain auction site at the moment

Perfect thank you! I just need to find one now without the silver surround now haha
Very nice! This post has been a while coming I did actually pick my S5 up at the end of June when I chopped in my previous S3, but since then it’s been to the detailers for a ceramic coating so it’s had a proper polish and a few minor scratches removed.
So here it is, 68 reg, 10k miles now and quite a few options including Carbon Inlays, Comfort and Sound + Light and Vision packs plus a few other additions. I’ve not done much to the car apart from my putting my private reg on and swapped out the rear lights for the darkened RS5 ones that I got for a bargain price of £120 from Sytner Audi. No major plans for the future, possibly wrap the window surrounds gloss black as I’m 50/50 on the chrome and possibly a RS5 style grill in a few months

Very nice mate! I'll get off your case now lmao! How easy was it to swap those rear light clusters? I really like the look of them, if you have a link of where you got them or did you just contact Synter?rear lights for the darkened RS5

Cheers mate, light clusters were dead easy in the end once I knew what I was doing, no more than a 15 minute job either side. It was through Sytner Audi (Leeds I think) on eBay, I’d set an alert up for new listings and within a few days some came up. They did have 2 sets at the time but I’ve just checked the listing now but it’s gone. I’d just keep an eye out if I were youVery nice mate! I'll get off your case now lmao! Thanks! I really like Daytona, bit more subtle than Ara Blue on my old S3 but I think the colour really suits the S5. Love the carbon, only option it’s got missing that I really wanted was pan roof but with this car coming up at a BMW dealer as a p/x it was too good of a deal to turn away fromLooks brill!
I have Daytona and dont mind the chrome at all - my previous one was Navarra Blue and I didnt mind the chrome then either. Actually think it suits both colours. If my car was black, red, white or silver though I would be tempted to change the chrome to black.
I am 50/50 on the dark rear lenses - looked at them a few times but never gone for it. Who did you deal with at Sytner Audi when buying the lenses? Could be tempted for £120.
Very jealous of the carbon inlays!

It’s Sytner Audi on eBay if you keep an eye out them and some other Audi dealers list things like that up for cheap all the time just a case of getting in there fast!

8W6052100A is the part number, although that’s for RHD cars, not sure if it’s a UK specific part number though@Bells @ Simonwhite2000 do you have the part numbers for those RS5 rear lights? They look stunning and fancy them on my Quantum down here in Aus.
Courtesy car while my A6 C8 is having a faulty tailgate latch replaced. Really enjoying it.

Hi Simon, it's the 35 tdi. No tech pack so I'm missing the VC.Nice colour floret silver. What engine is it? How do you find the older style interior?
Absolutely love it mate!My car's back from it's Christmas incident and sporting a new look - Won't be for everyone but I didn't want to play it safe. It needs the wheels black ideally but I'm torn on having them changed as the diamond cut ones will sell for more than black when it comes to getting rid!

Thanks, appreciate that will give them a look? If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost? If you don't mind PMing me. Thanks!http://www.identitywraps.co.uk/ - drop Andy a call and say that Ben sent you, I know he has those colours available as I nearly went for a blue myself when I did the satin silver.
Thanks for the feedback chaps, I was worried it may be a bit too 'need for speed' when I picked it but it was either this, satin navarra blue or orange.
It was actually wrapped Satin Silver previously so the insurance did go up ever so slightly (around £6)
Frustratingly I was a month off another year NCD and then my current insurer wouldn't cover me anymore because of it, so I was stung on not doing my research and lost that, I then had to pay more to have it covered but this also meant the wrap was covered if I had any accidents which saved me here as I would have had to just remove it and cut my losses.
It's bizarre that it affects the insurance as it doesn't actually make any changes to the car's safety, performance and it's a temporary colour change, Sky Van's etc are wrapped too.
Looks great in red, I've not seen another as we all tend to get grey, blue or blackBought my first audi last week. Loving my new (well new to me, second owner) Audi A5 S-Line
