If I purchase new alloys for my SQ2 do I need Tire Pressure Indicators valves fitted?

Depends if your car has the tpms wheel sensor system fitted, if so, then yes you'd need to fit, swap whatever.

Typically if the car has rubber valve stems then the TP monitoring is via the ABS brake sensors, if the car has steel valve stems then you have the full-fat TP monitoring system that displays individual tyre pressure and temps on the dash - its a cost option usually.

Active TPMS is not a factory option on the Q2 platform and the TPMS is audis passive / ABS based system, so changing wheels will not be a problem. Just need to store pressures after the new wheels have been fitted.

Thanks for the reply I contacted my local Audi dealer and they confirmed the TPMS is through the ABS system
