After reading this article regarding the autonomous driving and the myriad of sensors incorporated to allow it, I couldn't help but wonder if the timing belt/chain replacement requires removal of the front bumper?
Essentially all these sensors are going to be fitted in the bumper grille area, maybe explains the vast size of the grille. I wouldn't like to be an Audi tech tackling one of those.
I wonder how much four wheel alignment would cost?

Seriously cool tech on there, but I wouldn't like to be looking after one that was fifteen years old. It's bad enough trying to keep a 2000 year A6 on the road!

Oh I wasn't talking about a new one, I'm in the same boat as you there mines a 2002 A4Q 1.8t.
