New 8p owner. Brake advice please

hi. I'm proud to say that today I got myself a sprint blue 8p. I came from an 8l and this is a very nice upgrade in every department!

The one thing I noticed is that the pads and discs are well worn so the first thing I'm going to do is replace them.

I will probably go for a big brake upgrade down the line but for now I'm going to just replace the discs and pads with standard items.

What brands of discs and pads are oem (ish) and up to the job.

Use OEM or Brembo discs with DS2500 pads

If you want to keep the costs down a bit, I've got a pair of EBC Ultimax front disks available that came off my car when I went to a BBK. PM me if you are interested.

I rang Audi and they want €650 euro for the discs an pads. Seems a bit steep.

My local motor factor can get me either mintex or apec.

I can't seem to find a one stop shop for brembo

If it's s3 look for mkv r32 or mk6 r brakes which are the same, because most shops don't have s3 8p brakes listed..
