Sounds like sales tosh to me. The documents are released on a site called "desktop.vwg" and all updates and documents are published here. The documents are to help them sell better. Its not Apple.

Oooooh.........stop it now, all this top secret i can't say this or that, is killing us

Who cares?

Its no big deal to wait for the official Audi info.......

I'm surprised some people on here aren't getting the camping gear out, to go sleep outside the Audi dealership, just to be the first to order one...........:lmfao:

Could be, I'm not trying to make out I have any secret information. More so just letting people know it could be this Friday for orders. As I said he is a friend of mine so would hope he's not trying to give me sales tosh as u call it.

Finally had a chance to check my emails, nothing new in there in terms of information we already don't know. I have seen part of the document before so don't see any harm in posting the bits I haven't seen before. Initial press responses & some technical table comparisons between the new RS3, old RS3, S3 & A45 AMG

Got some PCP figures today from my dealer. 45k car, 7k deposit over 3 years, £605p/m with a £24580 residual!! Strong residual, pretty good I'd say! :)

I was hoping/expecting better residual than that TBH looking at the current RS3 prices. But as this new one is not limited production I guess it may suffer compared to that.

What is the interest rate? Seems high because at 7% your monthly on £45k should be £557.45

I reckon it would also go well with the matt aluminium styling pack!

If you look at it the RV is actually better than you would get from Porsche on a Boxster S. A £50k+ Boxster S would only get £25k after 3 years and 8kmpa.

Got these figures this morning, this is with no loyalty discount yet tho, just RRP.

£53500 OTR
48 months
17k p.a.
£18500 residual
£9.5k deposit
£700pcm

Will report back in a few days once they've applied my discount.

 Them's big payments!
......and a slightly worrying residual value for those of us intending to purchase with real money!

I was getting quoted better finance PCP figures on a spec'ed RS4 than those earlier on this year. That was on a discounted £54k car too

BUT I know, it's not a RS3 lol :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Agreed .......... those quotes seam incredibly high to me too.

I think that is the problem with wanting to be 1st in though - you have zero bargaining power with the Dealer, they know this and can charge you top line figures for the privilege.

On the plus side, you Guys will be among the first to own a new RS3 :icon thumright:

If anyone is still interested you can now configure the RS 3 on the Audi.de site.

Configurator does not black the tips of the sports exhaust and does not paint the callipers red. And it's a shame the quattro on the front lower grill is lost, but I need ACC as I really miss it after not having it on the S1 (previously had it on the SQ5).

It looks like the supersports have electric lumbar, but not full electric, but my German isn't great - if anyone can read otherwise on the site please do confirm!

It also looks like the Germans get a Carbon Inlay option which I would like, but the UK brochure only has 3D Black and Aluminium :(

That's how the supersport seats work in an S3, so it seems likely.

The Germans get all the good stuff! I will say the UK brochure had a number of errors in it like 'refer to page xx' where they've obviously not finished it yet and put final page numbers in - so there is a slim chance they may add buckets and carbon inlays for example.
It's my biggest pet hate that options vary by country, they are all built on the same line so just let us pick all available options!

Redesigned Buckets at that........

Must be the lightweight ones.......

I'd still have super sports seats.

However, the brochure does have a footnote to note that you need to consult with your dealer for the introduction date, in otherwords not available at launch. I have to say though having seen them in the picture, compared to the buckets that are in the current RS3 they dont look as good. I was initially a bit ****** that Audi were not offering them as an option at launch as I love the bucket seats in my current RS3, however I reckon the SSS ones look better and are probably just as supportive

Iv just been back on the Audi.de configurator and they've changed the colour of the sports exhaust to silver now, it was black when I looked yesterday.

Looking at the price it's about a £750 option without the mag ride.

Very odd! I thought the whole point was you got black tips with the sports. Maybe the black pack does it. We'll have to wait and see!
