Needing help

I wonder if any member with at S3 Tfsi 8P could do me a favour , I recently had to remove the Brass double thread screw from my Hpfp so I could wiggle it out to change Cam follower and in the process I am sure something like an O"ring fell off the part that goes up into the pump but as I couldn't see anything in my engine or in tray I am not sure if something did fall off or did I imagine it

The cam follower 'kit' includes an o-ring.

You might want to watch a few youtube videos showing cam follower replacement - see if you can spot an o-ring ...

Ahh, yep I know the washer/o’ring you mean. It’s really important - do not lose it! Give AKS a call and see if they have a spare.

That's it Sam I kinda thought there was one in there , would you happen to know if it's a plastic, Steel or rubber washer or a O"ring

 

I’m not sure sorry - I think it’s like a crush washer - brass or something.
