Need help best dump valve

Hi all

I got my 2007 s3 last September and now I want a dump valve and air filter and was wonder Wat was the best dump valve to put on
the car and what the best air filter is?

A dump valve will make you car slower and noisier.

The best one is probably the OEM recirc one you have now, unless you tune the car and then you might need an uprated version of the OEM recirc valve.
The only cars that seem to have `Dump Valves` that vent to atmosphere are beat up old Imprezas.

If you want more noise and drama then a CAI is probably your best option then at least you will see some performance gains.
These often come up in the classifieds so you should pick one up second hand.

As above, best dump valve is a OEM Rev D recirc valve...

As said audis dont use dump valves, their dv works differently, the most cost effective one of the standard rev d version, If your wanting an aftermarket option then the forge dv (I've got one for sale) is about the only option, you can also get an ad on that increases the noise if wanted. As far as cai's depends how much noise, the itg and evoms are about the best and good up to 400bhp the evoms being the louder of the two
