"The A1, A3, A4, A6, Q3 and Q5 have achieved an overall five-star rating" - Audi can say that all of their tested cars have achieved the maxium 5 star rating.
they have not tested the A5, A7, A8 and the R8. I suspect that, because of the design of these models, they may not achieve 5 stars. If they have them tested and 1 does not get 5 stars then they cannot say "the range has 5 stars", but if they don't test them then they can.
Doesn't mean that they are not safe, just means they have not be NCAP tested. It's a way of cooking the PR to make their entire range look safer than it may otherwise be and get more punters.
It's not like a large corporate to spin the PR to their favour for more sales.....is it?
