Navigation - returning to car's position?

Used the 'touch pad' to follow a proposed route but then despite pressing the obvious (to me) buttons I was unsuccessful in returning the map to the car's location.

Pressing return used to work on my old B8 but not here, so I must be missing something!

I just press the back button and it returns the sat nav back to the cars location?

Thought I'd given that one a try but will have another go!
