Basically thought I'd make this to give me a place to flood you all with pictures and give you all my thoughts on car as I live with it for the next 2years.
So arrival day:
After thinking I'd be waiting all day for the car to come from Eastbourne the guy called and asked if he can get to me early bonus! There no special handover with a lease as I found out, but the guy was lovely ex traffic cop instructor, he even went out his way to show me that on the long term memory that he'd averaged 56mph and 34mpg and told me he likes to come early as less traffic on the road for stone chips. After that I thought was only fair if I offered to drive him to the station haha!
Once I got the ex traffic cop out my passenger seat I managed to have a play.
All seems brilliant I'm struggling little with the tech but I think this is more down to all been new to me and hopefully will come with time, bear in mind haven't been in a Audi since my Mk1 TT and that had zero tech.
Had play with the drive select, the difference when you find dynamic is awesome the noice is unreal and the delivery of power! I wasn't expecting. I'd sort of told my self that it will be fast but now it's come it's totally blown me away.
Then after picking Mrs up for some dinner tried to show her... looked in mirror.... undercover Bobby!
Pulled over in less than 6 hours luckily he just wanted to give me a good telling off and on my way as I held my hands up and admitted I did wrong (more of them should be like this).
After that I was bit more nervous so managed to try out the comfort and sort of long distance driving and again blow away the fact you can go from roaring animal to a quite luxury saloon is great
Then had a few jobs right out in the sticks to look at (muddy, skinny, bendy roads) so I managed to get a feel of how it handles. And so far seems great I had plenty of grip and didn't feel nervous going in to any corner but will need more time with this to get used to it as I've come from fast small 3door hatch's it's a bit of a learning curve for me.
Look forward to people's thoughts and opinions!
Now for the good bit pictures !!
