So the AGU has a duff maf only runs unplugged now....couple of qs.....whilst unplugged aprt from being sluggish is it harming the engine etc?? are the mafs engine code specific?? i believe i read on here not buy gsf ecp mafs is that correct?? any pointers apreciated.

MAFs are mostly specific especially on the AGU... GSF/ECP will be ok as long as they are Bosch ones not repro's although peoples experiences do vary... Prawn has had some experience of MAFs on his...
The ECU will be in default setting mode for fuelling etc which isn't designed to harm the engine but as the AGU uses the MAF readings for everything you wanna do it sooner rather than later..
