N75 valve, what is it???

forgive my blindness but its a monday morning. i've been seeing a lot of posts about these recently but i'm not quite sure the overall benfits of what they do and replace in the engine. Some people talk of very good gains if you have a remap...?

Is it worth buying one and what will it do?

I think it controls the amount of boost by bleeding off the excess pressure.

it controls the wastegate in the turbo,

I would suggest leaving it alone and standard, as messing about with it has implications that the average user doesnt appreciate.
