well had this around a month now,, been a ford man for a long time, sold my escort cosworth to fund new house then bought this for a bit fun, so far i cant fault it (apart from clutch switch, as it revs slighty when changing gear) its had its clutch/flywheel done 8k ago and had timing belt n water pump done a few months back, its done just under 100k but feel very tight and pulls well, i live near a company called STAR Performance,, have been in to them and taken the car to them tomorrow to check if they can remap her, if so ill get it done this week sometime,,

fancy a set of brakes for it and down say 20mm???

any tip/info on owning and running these cars is much appreciated,,

Nice one mate, welcome to the fold. You can't be far from me If you live near star, I'm in Dundee. Good choice on garage aswell, Jim will keep you right on all things S3.

It looks like you're missing a bit of trim above the headlight in the right of that picture, no big deal but with mine I get a hissing noise at high speed when it's not there from air going under the bonnet.

A good thing IMO as it help keep the under bonnet temps down...
 
Maybe so Welly, but I'd be going mad if I had an odd bit one one side of the car to the other. It's just not right mate! Better take the other one off too.

it aint no concourse car mate and i get no noise so ill not be looking for a new piece,

kirkcaldy mate, no a few ford boys up your way,, was at star today got 4 wheel allinment done, getting it mapped as soon as i get those cheap spacers of the rear,,
