I know the feeling, I have an occasional slow speed knock too. Fairly certain it will be down to the solid shock mounts but it wasn't that bad when they were installed...

I have read half a dozen threads with these symptoms and nobody ever appears to find the cause, good luck...

Having run the 034 motorsports top mounts for a couple of months now, I’m going to swap them out for standard mounts, the noise of the suspension is doing my nut in. Fine for track use but to noisy for road use

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Finally swapped these buggers out for stock mounts, oh my god so quite I love my car again, worst mod I've ever fitted. Best thing is the uprated engine mounts are unnoticeable.

What’s the difference after fitting? Any noticeable improvement?

Not got round to fitting yet, there is quite a weight in the box and a lot of work to fit, still weighing it up!

I ordered some Vagbremtechnic J-Hooks like yours, where did you get your DS2500s pads ? seems they are more expensive than the discs !!

This stuff is heavy, but if properly applied will improve speaker sound quality massively as well as reduce outside noise a little. I have some of this on door skin behind speakers as well as flat panel areas of the door skin. No benefit in covering every panel fully - 20% coverage will be plenty.

For noise proofing there is a foam material that is good too and that stuff needs to fill the spaces in the door cards.

I think it was awesome, and yes they are expensive but they are good, I was struggling to find rs3 pads anywhere else

It replaces the DSG plastic filter housing with a shiny metal one

That looks rather nice and shiny.

You planning on getting the metal oil filter housing to match.

How come you're moving away from the B8s?

And did you go for the B14 of B16s?

Overall I was really happy with kit but the front right shock is not feeling/sounding right, I also want to tweak the ride heights so I’ve got the b14 kit, awesome we’re running a discount

Rear subframe Tyrol bushes and 034 bush inserts fitted, well nearly couldn’t get two of the top bushes in as the subframe wouldn’t line up. 75% done tho

Nice! Any pics? Would you say that this is a worthwhile mod on a road car?

No idea mate, all I know is the Tyrol bushes on the front sub really make the front end solid and steering is so much more sharper and more responsive. So I figured it would be a similar effect at the rear. Just removing any sloppy ness in the rear sub.

Probably OTT for the road but I can’t help buying new bits
