The guys bent the truth a bit here and there - so in case of any perspective buyers from here - I thought I'd give you the lowdown.

11 months mot road tax has just run out.

Car spec:- colour blue Azure very rare colour, Half black leather and blue swede recaro heated seats with electric adjustments and lumber support, drivers arm rest, adjustable steering column, front and side airbags, 6 speed gear box, tripcomputer, cruise control, air conditioning, electric window, sun roof, mirrors and central locking. Full BOSE sound system with 6 disc auto changer, zenon head lights with washers fog lights.

Loved that colour Azure Blue

ADDITIONAL MODS!!

All tuning work was carried out by Kim Collins of Quattro sports tuning (QST) renowned tuner of high end Audis.

Oooh no it wasnt...

Rolling road print out available 286bhp 307pft

from AMD's rolling road lottery many moons ago.

Private plate to be sold with car S3DRL cost over a grand!

 I bought the car with it on from a guy called Daryl who left it on the car when I bought it. It was £250 direct from the DVLA.

MTM ECU upgrade

Remap done by Kim Collins

MTM Dump valve,

erm -its a forge one

MTM clutch upgrade along with new Audi compression plate and new dual mass flywheel which was just fitted two months ago and cost 1£1500.

Er no it wasnt, yes its an MTM friction plate (which is actually just a Sachs uprated one with Sach's ground off and MTM stamped into it. I had this fitted just before I sold it in 2005.

MTM induction kit with storage box and a direct cold air feed,

Erm - wrong - its a Universal stainless steel air filter with a stainless steel heatshield which I made in the workshop at work over 5 years ago - did a good job though :) - but its not an MTM one.
My pic

Indeed happy bidding.

He tried selling this about a year ago and I emailed him and highlighted some of the obvious things that any enthusiast would spot as anomolies but he wouldnt have it.

So heres the truth in case anyone is wanting to buy it.

Was a cracking car when I owned it and still do miss it sometimes

good points mate but where is the link?

I love it when people just make up stories about a motor they're selling... An old car of mine is on PH with 40,000 LESS miles than when I sold it....lol.

Fishy...

Rap thats damned decent of ya to post up all that info.... brings into question the chaps integrity, i'd want to know the proper detail were it me buying a BT S3 especially with an MTM badge attached

hehehe - it certainly is bizarre when you're thinking about something like that and then low and behold it pops up! Maybe you're psychic Paul?

It certainly was a nice car, I remember from the meet way back. I wish I'd asked for a ride out in it with ya!

I hate the fact the guy is dishonest, and it really irritates me that he has used such poor quality pics to advertise it. That always makes me think the car is dodgy, or that it could just be a picture stolen from somewhere else! I guess one of the funniest things is that you make the advert sound much more appealing! Heh

Good stuff!
Rob :)

What irratates me the most is when people write in brackets how much the mod costs and then add them all to like £4000 spent over 3 years. Like this din and he didnt even put the money into the mods anyway, i feel sorry for the idiot whos going to buy this car off him. Not as in a bad car. its lovely but he/shes going to get bumped off !

Re Spacers, yes mate they have 15mm on the rear and 10mm on the front. With teo sets of Mcguards longer locking wheel bolts too.

The wheels that were in my pics were oem 18" Audi wheels too.

Loved that car.

I replaced it with a brand new Leon cupra R which I never modded.

Then a company vectra 'yuk'.

Now have the S3 below and am itching to start modding again :)

Nice one dude, very good of you to put this up for potential buyers....

Where would we be without forums huh? Can you imagine the amount of interest he is drumming up with his nicely written piece, then the new owner comes on here and reads all the above lol.
