Well after a 10 week wait, I picked up my Sportback TDI170 S-Line in Ibis White this afternoon. I forgot my camera to take some piccies, but luckily a fellow forum member, Dave R (h5djr) was at the dealership this morning and took the couple of shots posted here. It was raining at the time, but fortunately for me, it was clear and sunny, albeit windy, when I collected it at 3pm.

Options are Xenons, Interior Light Pack, Symphony III, BOSE, rear passenger sunblinds, front arm rest, 20 Spoke Alloys, auto wipers and lights.

Like another forum member, I was also fortunate to get full leather instead of the half leather that I specced, free of charge!

First thoughts are.... lovely. I'm upgrading from a Citroen C4 TDI VTS. The Audi seems so much more solid. A fair increase in power (the C4 was 138bhp), is really noticeable in 3rd gear. Contrary to what I've read, I find the engine pretty quiet (compared to the Citroen which is a bit of a tractor). Superchips remap booked for 2nd Feb courtesy of the UK-MKIVS open day, should hopefully see me good for 205bhp minimium.

I'll post a few more piccies when at the weekend after I've had the chance to fit the alu pedals that I bought from MB a few weeks ago.

I hope your wife/partner enjoys cleaning cars and especially alloy wheels!

Only kidding... seriously kewl. Noticeable in the pic how much lower the S-line suspension is compared with the Sport.

Have fun.

5 mm lower?
An extra 10mm over the 17mm the Sport is lowered compared to the base and SE. So the S-Line is just over an inch lower than standard.

Looks great! Must admit that for a long time I never liked white, but it's a popular colour in the States and now it's really growing on me! Terrific spec too.

That looks like Audi Huntingdon you took delivery from? Recall walking through those very doors last October for my service!

Your right benw123, it is Huntingdon Audi.

They have also just started work on a new Service building on the land opposite where you turn into their actual carpark. It will have 11 lift bays, 2 indoor valvet bays (to replace the tent!), a specialist 4wd brake test bay and an MOT/4wd alignment bay. It will also include a new Parts Department and a new Servce Reception area. The area currently occupied by existing workshop bays will become part of the main sales area.

defo interested to see whtat the outcome of over 200bhp is in a diesel lol!!!

The plans include another 70+ parking spaces would will be very useful.

Car looks very nice. Congratulations on being brave enough to order Ibis White ;)

I'm collecting my Sportback S-line 170TDi Friday/Saturday/Monday next week; basically as soon as it can be PDi'd and insured :)
