My Misano Red RS6 C7.5

Afternoon all, hope you all had a great Christmas.

Recently traded in my Sepang Blue 2017 S6 Saloon for a Misano Red 2015 RS6 Avant. The price was too good to miss so after calling some friends at the dealers and all came back great, needless to say i bought it.

It happened fast really as it wasnt the plan, some who follow me will know i have 90% of the parts to finish the widebody build. It was already Mrc stage 2 so the conversion would have seen a nice one off car. The turning point was the extra 100 hours to find alongside doing the paying work, since we have recently become McLaren Approved the likely hood of me finding 100 hours im pleased to say will be hard. So i decided to list the S6, had a quick look on the off chance and found this one on the Sunday and by Monday i had paid the deposit.

So heres the spec,
Misano Red Pearl
Full black leather supersport seats
Heads up display
Electric adjustable seats, mirrors and steering column
Tech pack advanced with wireless phone charger
Parking system plus with reverse camera and park assist
Electric tailgate
Heated seats all round
Probably missed loas but thats the long and short of it that ive noticed.

The 21s to me look like reps but i havent checked properly yet but at £46k it wasnt enough to ask any questions. The exterior is mint with all original factory paint so im really pleased.

When I had my RS3 I had a RS6 blow past me as I was slowing for a turn and the noise was off the scale! Such a great car.

They do sound great even straight out of the box. Think thats what i like the most about it, i dont have uncontrollable urge to tune it next week, really like how it is from stock!

Look gorgeous - congratulations! Curiously I traded a Sepang Blue RSQ3 for a Misano RS4, for a week or two I wasn't so sure of the colour but it grew on me (like you the price was too good to miss). Clean and shiny Misano is amazing - and yet it's hard to see the pearl in the paint, roll on the summer.

Thank you, its a very bright red but when in the sun its unreal. Even then really its still a very fine white pearl, but thats what i like about it, you have to look to appreciate it. I had a forged big turbo A4 quattro b7 nearly 5 years ago, my build is on here somewhere, that was misano red and i loved it but after taking the build to unreliable levels i just lost the love. Never found another red car thats caught my eye until this, just had to have it lol! Love RS4's in red also! Good choice!

Misano has always been one of my fave Audi colours

Evening all, decided to loose the aluminium. Needed the gloss black, so fished out the oem black edition grill, gloss black lower valance, had the roof bars and window trims wrapped incase i change my mind, added some spacers to the Vossen HF1 i had on the S6 till the wheels i want are made and dropped it 20mm via vcds and this is how shes finished up. Im quite happy. Love this car!!

Morning all, been a while since i posted so thought id better update my thread.

Managed to fit the decat downpipes, Ngk race plugs and K&N panel filter ready for MRC stage 1+
I fitted all the parts then Chris at CM Tuning installed the MRC software. We called to RS Tuning to do a power run and it made a healthy 681ps and 1095nm which im happy with as its not ringin its neck and still goes like stink.

We did some Dragy times and all varified below.
0-60 2.88 seconds
100-200kmh 6.7 seconds
1/4 mile 10.69 seconds

Also fitted some Vossen HF3 10.5 x 22
Wrapped in 285 25 22 Michelin pilot 4s

Full maxton kit fitted and with the 25mm drop it sits perfect. So im really happy with the car over all.

Does your rear lights have a light smoke on them or is it just the picture?
 
Been years since I had a red car and yours is looking great!

I’d have to wrap the mirrors in black as well, in keeping with the black theme.

A question on the decat dp’s - would this not be an MOT fail?

Wow, car looked stunning stick, but love the “tweaks”. Some (even more) serious performance!!!! Love the alloys too.

Thanks mate, Ive thought about it but not sure yet as id like the tailpipes gloss black also. At the minute it breaks it up abit.

Thank you and yes a definite mot fail, ill just have to put the cats back in for mot.

Im looking for some painted mirror caps i can paint to swap out the Aluminium caps, then i may go gloss black everything, quite like it as it is at the minute, just about to pull it on the ramp and strip the calipers off

The power is definitely the best part, but i love how it can be everything you need in a family motor, then flick it into sport / manual, traction control off and all hell breaks loose

Finally got them all finished. All the powdercoating equipment is going next week so thought id better sort them before it goes. Bit out there but all my cars are like that. Ill give it a clean and polish over the weekend and see how it really looks.

Thought they might of looked out of place being that bright but they actually suit it very well. They’re not too in your face when the wheels are on :)

Thanks, its always a dearing move going so bright , we were litterally looking at 2 boxes of powder... red and yellow. We flipped for it lol! Was also worried the red might be a noticeable shade out to the car and that would hurt me mentally being a painter lol

great looking whip for sure. my favorite audi of all time. one day when it swims over to the other side of the pond I will purchase. your rear end needs a black R badge or yellow as does the front:)
