my little a3 build-the colours something a bit different

hey all

just wanted to start little theard for my a3 its a colour i still not seen since ive brought it on a a3 (rare maybe??) ive had her for two months now and love the way she drives needs more pwer but thats coming soonish, its a 1.8 20v non turbo model and pulls quite well considering... since ive had her ive facelift the headlight with help from the guide on the forum (hid kit ordered just for more light) i could not believe the improvement on the lights was well worth the money. next up is rear lights and ive got a s3 bumper on it way to me now.

pics are pants sorry let me know if anyone seen any in this colour purple seems to be very different

Well a search is probably the best way I would have said. PP and her OH (Byzan) are both Mods so you will see them posting from time to time, but not always in the 8L section.

it could have been, a flip and 3 rolls at 60 with hardcore flying through the windows from the ditch. But only bruised shins and a sore neck. Audi build quality!!

I have seen a few in purple but not many. I never thought they were rare. I have only seen one S3 in purple though in the Pictures thread

reason i thought it was rare is i ordered some paint using the code and the guy turned round and said he never sold any of that in that colour code i know a4 in that colour seen 2 of them but no a3's

Looks like the blue chequered interior that came on a lot of pre face lift a3's.

yeah it was the chequered interior. It was shame about that car as it was really nice one. Found some pics of IanW's old S3 in purple

I got mine from a fella on here, but occasionally they come up on PH. Mine is a genuine s3 spoiler though, and is bonded to the car.

Side moulding r they stuck on or pins as I wanna remove them? Adding more pics tomes few changes that made a huge difference

side mouldings as in door bump strips?? they'r clipped in using plastic snapins but if you try to remove from the outside you will more than likely snap em off as i did so will then have to use bonding tape to re-fit, if doing away with them totally you'll be left with a few holes that will require filling and painting.

Ok got full exterior detail finally complete and I'm well happy with results paint used to look pants and feel rough now its shiney And smooth result of 3 hours cleaning

Only problem with this car is cracked windscreen being replaced asap and I got the urge to sell her!!!
