Hi all, been on here a while and thought I would post a few pics of my A6 seen as though were all locked down during these crazy times. It's Java Brown as the title suggests, one of my favourite colours for them.
Got a few things in the pipeline.
Already fitted (yesterday) a second hand Cete ASC module I bought from Marriedblonde on here. Had to but an additional adapter as his s6 is a facelift and mines a 2014 pre facelift.

Next up is fit my 21"q7 wheels once I decide on a tyre size. Then, Remap!

Question I have is, anyone know the paintcode for the allroad arches? My front one had faded in places.

Looks good have you thought about getting the arches colour coded ? I’ve been after a set of those wheels for my Avant but not found a set cheap enough or close enough yet.

Cheers bud. Got the wheels for an insane price but 250 mile away. I'm not a fan of the colour coded arches, prefer the contrast. I was thinking of gloss black or something.

@M8NGN Gloss black might look good. I’ve gone for a bit of gloss black on mine.

Not sure yet. They are in pretty good condition 8/10 so not immediately but might in time. So many options to decide, De-chrome or not etc.

I will try the wheels soon and make a decision. Definitely not gping black it spoils the wheel design on the q7 wheels.

No the later Q7 wheels are 5x112 as opposed to the earlier Q7 which was 5x130 (Porsche fitment).

Yeah as bulldog said, thats the reason for choosing them. Just trying to find some brackets to fit q7/rs5 calipers in line with 400mm S6 discs.

Also cant decide tyre size. Either 255/35/31, 245/35/21 or 255/30/21

Colour shows better in these after a 5 hour wash/wax. Still beed to do a full machine polish on it. Done the roof and bonnet but got bored.

I’ll possibly go 255/30/21 or 265/30/21 when I get 21’s but as you’ve got an all road yours would possibly look better with 255/35/21. Car looks good after a clean too.

As for brakes there’s not many options for 400mm discs.
No just the standard s6/s7 discs. Not too bothered about drilled etc, would be happy with solid discs as I love the look of thr Akebono calipers. Failing that I will go for rs6 calipers/discs.

Been a while since an update. Eventually, post furlough leave got the chance to get some smaller rubber on my Q7 wheels. Wheels are 21x9.5et31 and went with a 245 35 21 tyre. Went for budgets in the end as they got good reviews and I still have my Mitchelin Winters on the 20's for the colder months.

Well please with how it has turned out. Just need to paint the hubs and calipers now (or upgrade hmmm!).

Absolutely stunning!
Cheers bud. Over the moon with the fitment. This is in 'show mode' drive height is around 25mm higher. Still looks good at daily height to be honest.

@M8NGN looks great mate I would have thought 245 would have been quite stretched on a 9.5 wide rim but in your pics they look ok.

Yeah I was worried they were going to be too stretched but they are spot on. Catch the reae arch very slightly with all four of us in and a full tank over large bumps, so I'll trim 5mm off the plastic arch as its about 20mm wide. In hindsight I should of opted for 255/35 but these are spot on.

You can see on the pics attached that the inner rim is more visible but the outer rim protection just about covers it.

I’ll probably go 255/30/21 when I get a set for mine. Are you running any spacers ?

I only went with 35ratio to keep the overall diameter the same as the factory 20's. With 255 35 21 the diameter is about 1mm out. With these it is around 6mm out.

No spacers on this, could maybe squeeze 5mm up front but not worth it. Sits great.

I'm not sure how they would sit on the non allroad. If you're in Newcastle you are welcome to try these before biting the bullet on a set.

@M8NGN I think there’s less space on an all road as the plastic arches have quite a wide lip on them. I’ll probably have to raise my suspension by 5mm on the rear as it might be a bit close to the edge of the arch. I know the fronts will be fine but I’m still on the lookout for a bargain set :tonguewink:.

Not posted in a while. Eventually got around to painting my calipers until I have the cash for an sq7 upgrade. Went for an anodised purple for something different and I love purple.

Had the car serviced and stage 1 remap from The Performance Centre in Sunderland, they run an accurate dyno and was surprised it made 332bhp stock and 675nm, now running 374bhp but more importantly 760nm with a lovely smooth delivery.

New roof bars also fitted. Went with Ebay aturtle aero bars as they were 1/3 the cost of Thule for very similar appearance, really happy with them. Borrowed a roof box for a camping trip, now want a colour coded one for myself.

Car looks amazing mate! great job! how does it feel with the remap?
Thanks mate. Few bits of paintwork here and there will see it in check. Yeah the remap feels really good, definitely pulls harder for longer. Even better for those long country road overtakes without any effort at all.

Did you find a paint code to the bumpers? I need to sort a big old scratch out. Also sorry for the newb question. How are you lowering, is a diaognostic box like an obeleven? Looks incredible. How does it affect the drive and comfort? Thanks.

Hi mate. Sorry not on here much. As it happens the car is going up for sale, regrettably. I'm actually getting the front arch painted today as it has a small amount of UV damage and I want it nice and clean for the new buyer. I'll get the paint code for you today from my painter.

The lowering module is an independent module that plugs into the air suspension ecu/controller that over rides the factory control. It is for sale if you are after one. Its called a Cete lowering module.

Cheers
