Not usually a fan of this style but must say i ****** love this, i do like the white on white but agree the black with white lips looks so much better. Although air ride on an S3 cant do much for the handling side of things

I absolutely love the white trimmed bits in the interior, tastefully done but very effective... I'm tempted to do some similar things to mine, if she ever arrives.

The Bentleys (especially in white), however, and super-low ride height just aren't for me. Each to their own, shows would be pretty boring if we all liked the same thing: I'm just not a fan of air or those wheels.

the car handles very well compared to the oem setup, practicality was the main reason for the air, been able to drive in and not catch and lower for shows

the plate will be removed from the car, I still have the original tailgate so will be able to swap this back

You're gonna need it mate, if the rumours are true from my mot guy, informed me shortened plates are going to be an mot failure, maybe wise to check that.

I looked closely at the DVLA regulations. Short plates are ok if you have a minimum of 11mm border around the letters. I just put a new reg and short plates on mine so I was paying attention

Yes but regs are being reviewed for next year.

Given I obeyed what they sent me with the registration I'm pretty sure it's ok for now.

as has already been stated as long a the plate is with the guidelines ie the 11mm boarder and all the correct stamps etc etc its legal, maybe the law is about to change but for now its 100% legal

Thought it was about time for a mini update


The bentleys were sold mid october, I loved the wheels and I know they worked perfectly but wanted a change.


Then put the CH black editions back on the car, again love these wheels but had them for two long and decided to sell them eventually.


Picked up a set of Audi fat fives from ebay for a bargain price, thanks to Laura at Voodoo for picking them up and bringing them up to Derbyshire. Had them refurbed, black barrels and white faces, maybe a mad choice as there never gona stay clean through the winter but hey. wrapped them in 225/40 18's and loving the comfy ride and handling.

Please do not take this the wrong way as my intention is not to offend with my comment but in my opinion the car is now way OTT, the first few mods looked nice (apart from the white rings) but over time the car has started to look chavvy, I appreciate that it's each to his own and I know my opinion won't count for much but I thought I would just add my (and a few people who I work with) opinion but it's your car so as long as your happy with it then that's all that really matters (i'm probably just getting old lol).

I always liked the black/white combo, yes fat fives are drastic improvement over bentleys, but maybe in black after a 2nd/3rd/4th look, does look a tad to much white if I'm honest, but looks far better than the white s3 I saw other day, god damn I was like wtf is that, an ibis white with painted grill & fog surrounds in silver, it looks ****** horrendous, totally ruined the car & certainly looked beyond chavvy.
