My Brakes don't work in Reverse!!

Mornin'

not quite as bad as the subject line suggests, but very annoying! When I first move my A6 2.7T Quattro after it's been standing for more than just a few hours (e.g overnight)forwards is no problem, but in reverse, the brakes don't really do anything. If I really stand on them they do bite a bit. As soon as I've moved forward just a few feet and then try reverse again it's fine. In general use the brakes are just perfect! Anyone got a suggestion?

Mine's a bit like that (99 A4 2.8Q). I just put it down to cold pads.

Local Stealer checked it out and said the entire breaking system is spot on! Nothing wrong with it, so no idea why those first few moments can be a little interesting. They managed to charge me 500 quid for some new link arms (whatever they are - can you tell I'm not that technical). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Still love the car though!
