I thought I'd put a post together with some pictures of my S6 for anyone who is remotely interested.
It's Sepang Blue which looks great but came with some nasty *** chrome on it which Audi wanted stupid money to remove as they don't offer the black edition/optics pack on this car in the UK.
I've since taken it to a local shop called www.customcoats.co.uk and had the chrome window surrounds and roof rails wrapped in a black satin. I think it looks great. They even did the tailgate for me for free. This cost about £200 as apposed to Audi's bargain price of £1500.
Next up are the wheels. They are 20s but I want the. Black. So either satin or gloss. But not sure think possibly satin. I've been quoted around £300 for this by the same company.
It's now running Revo's stage 1. I was the development car and I. Very happy with it. It's making over 500bhp and 530lbs of torque now. But it's making well over 100bhp throughout the rev range. I think their tune seems to make torque and power a lot easier on than other tunes from what I gather. Less headline numbers are the top but a lot more punch down lower and throughout the midrange where you really get to use it.
I think after the wheels I need at least a catback or an x pipe. It's a refined car and needs more GRRRRR!
I'm really happy with my purchase the seats and comfort alone make it more of a better car than my s4. The ride comfort is also exceptional. Even in dynamic it'd way better than the s4.
It's almost blood rapid. I've not been overtaken yet. I'm dying to have a run in with an M5 or e63 or even it's bigger brother to see how she does.
Launch control is BRUTAL. I took my friend out yesterday on a private road and it scared the **** out of him. He said it hurt his face lol.
Fuel economy. I don't think I can use that word. It's doing 10mpg at the minute as I'm thrashing it at every given opportunity. Bit on the motorway or driving conservatively it's better than stock by 4-5 mpg I'd say.
