How long did your H&R take to arrive mate?

I ordered on a Thursday and they came the next Thursday.
You get tracking details which is dhl until it's in this country then parcelforce delivered it.
The estimated delivery from sellers in the UK is over a week!!

Well we can't moan at that thats better than some uk delivery times and a great saving at that

Any tips on fitting Marshy front or Back ?

The rear one is very easy and definitely a DIY job.
It's a case of jack the rear up on both sides and it's literally the 2 links and the 4 bolts securing, slip the brackets from the old one to the new and pop it back on.
The front really needs a 2 post lift to do as its a subframe drop to get the bar out. Once it's out you drill the old brackets to split them.
Any decent garage should charge a max of 2 hours to do.
The fronts not difficult by any means but I wouldn't try it on a jack and axle stands.
The rear bar makes the biggest difference, you don't realise how good they are until your on the twisty roads.
The thicker rear bar makes it feel so stable

One of the mods I've done recently was fitted superpro bushes to my front wishbones, I already had superpro anti lift kit but I'd say the front bushes made the biggest difference.
£38 and took me 40 mins aside to do on a jack at home.

Marshy any tips / guides to change the bushes? Mine are in the garage with ALKs, didn't have anything to push the bushes out!

I just used my bench vice to push them out then cleaned the housings and the superpro bushes push in by hand when they're lubed up.
If you didn't have a vice it could be done with a threaded bar and a small socket I e side and a large the other.
They're just a solid rubber bush so no shell to push out or cut.

I got the vice. Did you cut the shoulder of the old bush off cos I haven't got a socket big enough to go over it?

I trimmed the outer rubber off the bush with a Stanley knife so I could get the larger socket to sit against the arm for pushing it through.
Really easy though just 3 nuts on the balljoint 3 on the rear console and the 1 through that bush.
I've tried powerflex on a previous car and they creaked like mad but superpro have been silent.

Think I pushed it through with a 17mm but the large on I think was a 40mm

Finally chilling on a Sunday afternoon and can catch up with forum! Hope everyone is well with these depressing Dark nights!!!!!


A few pics of the New Sachs Organic Kit and New LuK DM flywheel all being fitted along with the RS4 Fuel P Valve and had The Revo software updated and reloaded! Can not Thank the Guys enough at TTS Roadsport for all there top work!

Need to get its winter coat of Wax on and then sit down and plan the next stage of mods I also would love a set of winter wheels maybe RS3 Alloys as they are so easy to clean lol!!!!

Also Just had all the Laser Tracking and alignment all done again at the TTS Roadsport...... What a difference this has made to the car! it is really unbelievable I thought the car was perfect before but how wrong I was its just so so much more sure footed!

Totally recommended and really was overlooked by myself but hey ho!!!! lol!!

Not sure mate but it doesn't look like a Hunter system.
If it's done properly then it's right no matter what machine, it's just the Hunter systems are renowned for being Bang On.

Thinking of treating mine to a DSG and engine oil change, happy Xmas!

Any idea how much a DSG change is?

It's all done Haldex & Diff along with Engine oil and filter and really was enjoyable and really satisfied that doing it yourself!!

If anyone tries this themselves i have a few tips that will make it so much easier.... the Haldex and Diff have to be filled and are awkward to refill and making sure you get the correct amount back in but a bit of research done and in screw fix they sell the best tool ever a massive 300ml syringe with hose and bottle funnel etc made it so easy and was only £9.99 I have included a few funny pics of it lol lol!!!!

The other tip is Audi say they don't change the Bolts to the Haldex but I found out that they have copper crush washers so went to order new ones, I have the part numbers as the were only £4 for both to me was a no brainer so defy worth grabbing them too!

I've still got my diff and haldex to do next year, it seems Audi don't do or recommend a haldex filter change on the gen 4 systems.
Good call on the syringe I think I'll need to purchase one

The syringe honestly made it a joy to do mate, worth the £9.99 all day plus it's handy for the garden mower oil change lol!!!! Well that was another good excuse with the MRS lol!!!!

Full winter protection over the weekend and thats it for 2014! Roll on 2015!
