Help Please Multitronic - how to make it last many years

Hi all

I have just bought a 2015 B85 diesel 177 multitronic and only after purchasing have read of potential problems down the line with this type of gear box
I really like the car and would like to keep it for about 5 years, 150,000+ miles. it currently has 40 thousand on it.
I will oil service every 10 thousand miles and gearbox fluid every 25 thousand miles.
Is there anything else I can be doing to ensure a long and trouble free life from this gear box?

Not sure if yours is double clutch setup, but there are other videos on YouTube that will help with your question if isn't.

There is however only so much you can do, service and pray. The service will have a far greater impact though.

Multitronic isn't double-clutch; it's a continuously variable transmission.

There are never any guarantees, but regular servicing and plenty of mechanical sympathy go a long way.
