So, the S4 was getting a bit long in the tooth and was needing few things done that were gonna cost me a chunk of change so I bit the bullet and went over to the dark side (on 2 fronts!)
New steed is a BMW 435d gran coupe.
Won’t deny I’m missing the old girl just now, the final drive down to York was a complete blast!. Still in the grieving process lol
I’ve just noticed that a dealership now has it up for sale for considerably more than I got trade in, which sticks in the throat a bit but at the same time, she needed about £2k spent so that’s lessened the blow somewhat!
Impressions of the new car are good tho, whilst it wouldn’t have seen which way the s4 had gone (S4 was stage 1 mapped), it has a very impressive turn of speed, is comfortable and doesn’t have quite the same drinking problem. The last Bmw lasted only a year before I traded in for an another ‘S’ car, hopefully this one will last longer!
