Move to 18 inch , Rim Size , Off Set , Make , Color ?

Appears 8L is 5x100 pcd , which limits the use of the newer audi wheels
Staggering amount of aftermarket wheels available

Cars original GRAY , fitted std 17 with 10 mm ? spacers to accommodate brembo jumbo

Looking for ideas of what works , color / style / brand ? [ road use]

Rim size 7.5 ? is that correct ?
Off- set ..... mm ? what value should that be ?

Typical alloy to change the 17” avus standard ones are to the 18” RSTT 9 spoke, often found on the Audi TT 8N makes the car OEM but suits the car much much better in my opinion.

17” Avus are indeed 7.5J
18” RSTT are 8J (33 ET) from memory

225/45/18 is the normal tyre size

Put my team dynamics on today 18x8j 20mm spacers on front et45 I did have 15mm on the front originally and 20 on rear but the wheel was too close to the shocks on the front for my liking so just swapped them for the time being 225/40/18 I think the tyres are

Seeing tt QS wheels, but differing part numbers front and rear fit ?

Matching Gray not too obvious , silver probably only option , black clashes , gold looks a bit scooby do like -( white bit brash ..

Tt qs are ****** expensive that’s if you can even get hold of a original set most are copy’s that you find for sale

TT QS alloys are rare as hens teeth. They are different part numbers front and back because they are a staggered alloy. Meaning the backs are actually wider than the fronts.

This is mine with my genuine RSTT wheels on it. 10mm spacers front and 20mm spacers rear.

Nothings ever simple, changing the pitch from 5x100 , debars any on the newer kit ..
looking to get away from the wide spoke , genuine qs set went through ebay
few months back , in the pics , the rims have the 0000 stamp on the inside
and part numbers .. unlike the one's there now ..
