Ok so after fixing my abs sensor I was feeling pukka. Then I start hearing a clicking noise from the same wheel. Sounds a little like a Lolly pop stick in your spokes.

Anyhow tried a few things until today I jacked up the front right wheel and put the car in drive and didn't like the sound.

Called a mate round but weren't confident laying under a 4wd with 1 wheel in the air.

Noise sounds to be coming more from the diff end than the hub end. But it' hard to tell.

Now do I try audi and push for good will on a 6 year old car with full audi service history or get it on a local ramp and play chase the noise ???

Either way I think I'm going to get @$#×£€

Audi usually do good will on car just out of warranty with full history, but I would be surprised if they do that on a 6 year old car.

Even if they look at goodwill on the repair the diagnostic service is normally charged.

Audi do. I'm sure I've read somewhere that they deem the "service" life of a car is 7 years or 100K miles which ever comes first. Audi don't care about cars over that age or mileage.

It's why the manufacture of the gearbox (ZF) state the box should be serviced. Best find yourself a good ZF specialist. I can recommend mackie in Glasgow. They serviced my A6 ZF gearbox. www.mackie-transmission.com/index.php/en/
