Mobile phone reminder

Sorry,another newbie question.My new s3 was delivered last week.It had a reminder on leaving car "phone left in car"....however,since changing settings it no longer
does this which I found useful. Can't find how to get it reinstated,manual no help,how can I get this back please.

In mine it needs to be connected via the cable to the usb to give you this notification.

Needs to be plugged in via USB (such as when using CarPlay or android auto) for it to do it. Just Bluetooth and mine doesn't tell me

Mine does this when in the wireless charger.

Mine reminds me if connected by cable or if charging wirelessly in the cubby hole under the armrest. If just connected by bluetooth there's no reminder.
