hi,

still trying to get to the bottom of this mmi issue, everything I've read is pointing to the amplifier needing repaired/replaced.

i bought a MOST bypass loop and plugged it in instead of the amp, but theres no change, the system will turn onto the splash screen for about 10 seconds and turn back on again, no change with the bypass loop.

does this mean it isn't the amp then? something else?

Do you have access to VCDS? I can't imagine your being able to diagnose the problem without a diagnostics tool - these cars are just too complicated.

I don’t, should hopefully be meeting someone on Friday with on to have a look.
