Sorry all, more questions from the newbie who knows very little...

I have a 65 plate A4. I believe it's the 3G plus MMI as it has the little joystick, SD card slots and the nav is on the HDD... I've seen various mentions of google maps on the 3G plus MMI... how do I find this? I can't see the option?

How often is the MMI updated? Is there somewhere that lists the newest version available? How much do Audi charge to upgrade versions?

Take it to Audi. It's under warranty bud. Ask them does it need updated.

If you have a sim card slot in between the 2 SD card slots then you should have Google maps, also in the bottom corner it should say the Google logo on the Nav screen. If you dont have a sim slot then you won't be able to get google maps quite so easily.

As above, if you dont have the sim slot, you wont be able to get it.

Also the main screen MMI menu screen shows/needs 'audi connect' If this is missing you won't get google maps.
