Hi Guys

I'm new around here, I've just bought a Dynamik A4 2011 plate for the missus and I've been messing around with all the gadgets.

So I have a question regarding playing spotify via the bluetooth integration on my phone, and it isn't working. I don't seem to have the option in the Bluetooth menu to turn on the audio setting (the setting just isn't there).

I've done a bit of research and I think I have the MMI 3G low which didn't have the bluetooth audio option, so I think my only other option is to by a Bluetooth A2DP streaming device (about 5quid on ebay).

If the above is my only option would my phone calls still work ok if I go down that route?

Thanks in advance..

Best bet is to have ami fitted, thus will give you the proper integration.

I think ami is the cable correct? If so I would prefer Bluetooth as the wife uses the Iphone and I have a Samsung S5 so would save buying two leads...

Plus I'm not sure the MMI can control spotify can it, so I would need to get access to the phone to select songs?

AMI can be added with a Bluetooth ami dongle to give you streaming.

OK I've got the bluetooth receiver that uses the 30 pin IPhone connection. I've connected it to the Blue booted AMI lead and it give the receiver power and I can sync my phone to it, however the MMI can't see the input now?

Do I need another sort of lead and Bluetooth dongle, or do I need to change the source to AUX in?

Yeah that's what I have. Tune2Air is really good! It's a dongle that can be connected to the AMI to give you Bluetooth music streaming.

I think it works with all types of phones. It's not Apple specific.

OK cheers mate, 70quid is still a little steep but if that's my only option then... unless anyone has opened up the hidden menu and change the AMI input to AUX maybe?

Can get a viseeo tune2air. It is Bluetooth music streaming to iPod ready cars. It also switch calls automatically between music and cars BT Phone, so you can have a phone call in your car. I have the WMA3000A that I purchased from viseeousa.com, it is a very good product.

What if there was a way to completely bypass symphonys, concerts, MMI2/3G Highs & Lows, etc and (almost) instantly upgrade your B8 to a B9:

I've been following Daniel's progress for some time and what he has achieved almost single handedly is nothing short of exceptional... Have a look...
