MMI 2G High - Bluetooth streaming?

Does anyone know if its possible to stream from a iphone to my bluetooth it has MMI 2G high installed.

I was under the impression that this was not possible as standard. I have 3G high with HDD and this doesn't work on mine. Only way to do it is to buy a Bluetooth AMI dongle from eBay and plug it into the AMI port and then set the AUX option on AMI in the hidden green menu.

If I'm missing something I'd love to hear it because I'm astonished that you can't do this as standard. I also have the extended blue tooth prep in my car and still no joy unless you get the AMi Bluetooth dongle

i use Tune2air, costs about 60-70 quid on amazon works great, plugs into ami ipod dock. Phone streams music to this and is still connected to the mmi for phone calls. All functions still work through mmi for song skipping etc

Yeah defo try tune2air. It worked great in my B8.
