Will 2007 golf mkv gti calipers fit on a 54 plate a3 ?

Going to buy 312mm discs and upgrade mine.

Just need to confirm that they will fit ?

I've heard theres 2 different types of 312 set up, one type has the carriers built in to the caliper and one has them seperate, dont know if its true or not to be honest!

'Mikey' on this forum has got Mk5 carriers, 312mm pads n ferrodo pads on his TDI, work a treat!

well bought them today .. red calipers and carriers with nearly new discs and pads......£100.00... BARGIN...

My car had 312mm brakes to start with same as the Golf and the carriers where built into the calipers. Madluke has them fitted to his car now with no problems.
