Hi , I've recently noticed my car missfiring when I startup from cold , as I said only does it first thing when cold . I'm sure it's missfiring , it lasts about 5 seconds then idles smooth . The only thing I have done recently is taken the inlet off to paint it , is it possible I have damaged something ? , any ideas would be grande .

Discovered this a few days ago, took it off cleaned it and so far my car has been starting well. VVT solenoid

Thanks S3 Baby, i just removed the plug and 2 torx screws, and spray electrical cleaner on it and give it a wipe. Very easy to do
