Miles To Empty shows wrong? why?

I live in finland so will write in KM. When my computer says miles to empty 100km left, then the tank in empty. should show 0km then. can i re calibrate the sensore or what could be wrong?

I think you can alter it in vcds, you can also recal the fuel level sender with a full tank in vcds
