Afternoon everyone, I'm have a bit of a mare at the moment.

So I recently purchased a multi function steering wheel for my 2005 A3 8P 3 door but I don't think the seller wasn't honest about it as I believe it is from a 5 door as the air bag connector is different to mine and I'm not sure what to do. The connector with the purple tab is off the MFSW that doens't fit and the connector with the white tab is off my original steering wheel.

I don't know what is my best option; buy a new slip ring/clockspring from a 5 door that will fit the airbag, buy a new loom/harness between the airbag and the slip ring/clockspring or buy a new airbag with the correct connector.

It's a DSG as well, not sure if that makes a difference.

Any advice would be amazing, thanks

Welcome to Audi-sport.net Dan. I see you have posted in the A3 8p section. Hope you get sorted soon.

Hi

What type of airbag was on your car originally, is it a single stage or two stage airbag?
