Menzerna question

I've got a black A4 which has been poorly washed all it's life ,I've compounded it and removed swirls,then da with menzerna 2200 ,green hexlogic pad then menzerna 3500 final finish using grey hex pad,problem I'm getting is after the pass with the 2200 the shine is amazing but as soon as I pass over with the 3500 final finish it seems to mute the shine,ive tried topping off with dodo ,colly and menzerna wax but it's still muted,what am I doing wrong?

Have you tried a different pad with the Menz final finish? When using the DA i like Sonus pads, try a Sonus final finish red or blue pad? Also only use 3 very small pea size drops of polish on the pad. Alternatively go straight to wax after the 2200 polish?

tried lake country pads but wernt that keen on them,thinking of giving it another pass ,then top off with butter wet wax ive just brought to try
