Meets

Nothing planned as of yet mate but I'd be up for a meet and I know a few others are also up for getting something arranged. You got any ideas in mind?. Also get yourself to inters in July I'm going and if a few other people are interested we can arrange a convoy from the nw.
 
Ive been a member of quite a few forums... normally do mini meets and arrange them etc.. somewhere that has a big open car park is good. Generally trafford centre near Krispy Kreme is always a good spot etc... never been to inters mate. Whats it like there?
 
It's my first inters mate been to other shows just never to inters looks good tho, check out the website loads going on I got a leaflet through the post. We'll get something arranged of your up for it.
 
I'm game if people are up for it, who's gonna be the brave one to arrange it?
And about Krispy Kremes, I went down there the other month and it was full of the typical Trafford cars but there was a very nice TT RS.

There used to be loads happening in Warrington on a Sunday night like that kinda thing, but I have no idea if it still does.

Lets get something organised :)
 
Any ideas on a location then chris? Maybe we could get a regular monthly nw meet going.
 
Even if there was a NW events organiser mate you can still organise something yourself.......you dont need permission. Thats how we do it in Scotland. If someone has a good meet location then they just get on with it and put up all the relevant info so people can say yes or no.

Sound mate.. I know the other forums im on etc you need permission of the local area forum leader.
 
Yea n8 and Sandip are the mods of this section but not much seems to happen in the nw section it's a little quiet. as brodster said anyone can organise a meet. Not much seems to happen my way unless you go into Liverpool which may be a little far for some other members? so I'm quite happy to arrange a meet in or around Warrington as its seems to be pretty central to a lot of members.

Good to know... location wise im easy as I live 1 mile of the east lancs road and close to motorways etc

The other forums have gone to the like of the greyhound island pub or krispy kreme as an ice breaker meet etc
 
Guys, these sections were split up by myself to more manageable areas. Any member may post a thread with suggestion for a local meet. That is what these sections are for, members to meet other members. Have fun and have some great meets, dont forget the pics, lol. :) x

well your pretty central then, we had a mini meet a while back at the game bird pub on the east lancs road decent location so anywhere around there is ideal, do you know the game bird pub?

Never been but im sure it wont be far from me like you said im pretty central to manchester & liverpool
 
Where abouts in Warrington are you Gaz if your 1mile from the East Lancs?

What's everyone's ideas for a meet then? If there's not many up for it we could just go the Krispy Kremes route, maybe meet somewhere on the way for everyone and head down? If we did it early enough find a good photo spot at the same time?

Or for a bigger meet maybe try and plan a RR day, there a few local 4wd RRs which are decent places.

Yea am up for that Probably better doing that chris till maybe a few more people are interested then maybe think about another location. Seeing as use are in warrington i could meet use at the Gemini retail park then we could make are way up. I would also be up for a rr day at awesome
 
Ahh right I was thinking it was going to be Culcheth or somewhere that way.

Jay, sounds like a good idea and ill bring my VCDS cable if you still need your car scanning.

I'm sure someone organised a big UK wide RR day at Awesome not long ago and it went down well so it's definitely an option :)
 
Yea sounds good so what night is the Krispy Kremes thing on never been brfore? And yea still need car scanning mate that would be great I sent you a pm before anyway you probably haven't seen it yet. Yea am sure I remember reading that about the awesome rr day deffo get one of them organised soon.
 
Just replied to your PM Jay, and its on a Friday. It's a bit hit or miss as to what you'll get, I think sometimes like R32oc have meet there and then other times its just full of the Trafford Cruise and their vtec civics!

Was gutted I missed the Awesome RR day, but I had heard it was pretty pricey!
 
Yea got it thanks chris, well suppose its worth a look so fancy going down next Friday then? Hopefully we can get a few more people interested.
 
Im new here but up for a meet at krispy kremes as I'm next to manchester airport
