My s3 has put me in panic mode . Yesterday I finished work started the car. Put in drive pulled away , it did not want to engage in any other higher gears I tried paddle shifts got no response I put it in reverse I thought I broke down it wasn’t moving back at all put it in drive same again first gear with high revs didn’t want to change gears , EML came on and gear indicators were flashing in D N R And S is this 110% a mechatronic issue?

Possibly it's the mechatronics unit - you need to get it scanned to see. Contact Milta (https://milta.co/) who can advise.
