This is my first Audi, not sure of the market, so seeking advice!

Might downgrade car - I drive very few miles and it seems silly to have the insurance when I never get the benefits of 180bhp!

So, if I put it up for sale, what's it worth?

Audi A3 1.8T Quattro T Sport
03 plate
114,000 miles
Full service history - mostly Audi main dealer, some other, most recent full 20k + Haldex at Dialynx (Audi Specialist).

Positives

Very tidy for miles - no flaws inside.
Front bumper has been professionally resprayed to very high standard
Generally tight car - mechanically sound

Negatives

Outside: some issues...
- medium sized scrape/dent in driver's side sill.
- alloys quite badly curbed.
- 1 minor scratch in paint on boot
- bonnet shows miles

So what do we think?

Lots of these 'What's it worth' posts lately, have you guys not heard of Autotrader or Pistonheads?

The car is worth as much as the next person is willing to pay for it, and it's a bad time to sell, so don't expect to get top dollar for it at this moment in time! A quick scan through pistonheads will give you a reasonable idea on how you should price your car.

Good luck with the sale.

Well you dont mention colour or 03/53, so assume it to be a silver 03 plate. I'd suggest
4300 ish as it sounds like it needs some paint and wheel refurb.

£4300! No chance!
I posted in a thread on this the other day but I have exact same car that I bought with 55000 miles and Full stamped Audi history for £3500 back in February!
Based on this I cant believe your car is worth more than £2500 tops!

I looked on Autotrader and there weren't any of this spec of car. Older ones, yes, newer ones with this mileage, no.

So basically, somewhere between £2500 and £4000 depending on getting lucky with a buyer.

Well, that's depressing. I won't say what I paid for it :keule:

Serves me right for buying at the top of the used car market bubble this summer.

Guess I'll be keeping it then :) Not a bad thing at all, really.

.....Really.....Except his is 3 year + newer than yours (your wife's).... So not quite "exactly the same" is it? And you paid £3500 for your needing work, back in Feb when prices were lower than they currently are.

So I'd say every chance, particularly if it is a decent colour and on a 53 plate, not an 03 cos we still dont know what it is.

It's Nero Black, and as I said above ;) it's an '03 plate.
