Not specific to A3 but should be suffiecient to give you a good idea on whats involved.

going to get the part later today from euro car parts

I got VW to change mine. Cost about £165 for parts and labour.

165 not much but then it can go towards a new LCD tv am after

so part is roughly £45 then i can save on the labour


From other forums it does seem easier, i just need to have a go

I thought about having a go but then decided after reading things about little clips I didn't want the car to be in bits on my drive way with it being my daily commute. Good luck!!
