They seem to have the cheapest quite with lowest excess.

Thanks for suggestion folks, will check them out.
Usual renewal came back higher but the strange thing this year all the comparison site and other insurers have came back with a ridiculous excess, some with compulsory excess £800+ where as last year was around £200. Last time my excess was more than £200 was when I was 20 with a type r
only asked about marshmallow cause they were the only reasonable one with a £250 compulsory excess.
usually try to keep with bigger insurers as when sh1t happens they are more likely to pay out than Mickey Mouse insurers/underwriter

Went with Aib. They came back with a competitive quote and realistic excess not 4 figures excess.
