marks in paint

Has anyone got any idea how to get rid of these marks

Ahhhh got that same problem on my car. It a paint chip and only option is get professional done but I rather wait for any major scratch on it then i get full wrapping

Hmm what is that bird crap maybe a gd cutting compound then polish out, failing that then machine polish is needed

I have machine polished it before got it a little better I've just got some new pads so will give it another go

A wet sand and buff will sort that.

What grade wet and dry paper would you recommend

I'd start with 1500 grit, then refine with 2000. Depending on the outcome of that i would either refine further with 3000 or move on to cutting compounds and pads to buff.

Be very careful bud, and allow plenty of time.





<------- have a look here as I've just done one side of my A4. (1 full day to do, and it's still not perfect in my opinion.)

A good session with a polisher and some good products normally get rid of stuff like this as Audi paint is relatively thick with a good clear coat.

You can't buff-out the image of a man in socks and slippers.
